Job Summary of Retail Coordinator:
This role is essential for supporting the daily operations of the store by offering guidance, direction, and leadership to associates to maintain exceptional service and merchandising standards. It plays a crucial part in talent development, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency in a fast-moving retail environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Coordinator:
- Inspire the development, coaching, and retention of team members through hands-on leadership and active engagement.
- Improve guest experiences by promoting store credit and loyalty programs to team members.
- Regulate adherence to store merchandising guidelines and supervise inventory procedures for consistency.
- Take advantage of business reports to evaluate how the store is performing and to identify areas where improvements can be made.
- Utilize organizational software, systems, and standard processes effectively to meet operational objectives.
- Encourage the team to achieve results by providing consistent coaching, recognition, and transparent communication.
- Cultivate a positive and collective team atmosphere that prioritizes guest fulfillment and employee commitment.
- Attend to any additional responsibilities as given.
Qualifications and Experience of Retail Coordinator:
- The basic educational requirement for this role is a High School Diploma or its comparable equivalent.
- Individuals with 1-2 years of supervisory experience are given preference for this role.
- Demonstrating adeptness in interpersonal relationships and proficient communication techniques.
- Ability to excel in independent tasks while also contributing effectively to team endeavors.
- Shows proficiency in tackling problems and orchestrating tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in the use of Zebra PDA technology, POS systems, Microsoft Office applications, and scheduling software based on hands-on practice.
- Willing to work varying schedules that may include mid-shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Possessing adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical abilities is crucial for carrying out essential job functions, whether adjustments are made or not.
- Should possess the strength to handle items weighing at least 20 pounds through lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying.
- Essential job functions involve the ability to move the body in a full range, encompassing bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching.
- The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
